Social Service Guide
\nAIM AND OBJECTS:<\/p>\n
1 The Social Service Guild will render help to the poor and deserving<\/p>\n
students of the college.<\/p>\n
2. It may form volunteer groups to render social service in times of<\/p>\n
emergency.<\/p>\n
3. It may take up constructive works such as improvement of the college<\/p>\n
campus, cleaning of the college ground or other work of community<\/p>\n
“service.<\/p>\n
4. It will take up such items of work as are done by N.S.S.<\/p>\n
5. FUNDS:<\/p>\n
a) Each student is required to contribute an annual subscription of RS.5\/\u00ad<\/p>\n
for S.S.G. work.<\/p>\n
b) It may receive aid from outside.<\/p>\n
c) Charity shows or benefit functions may be organised<\/p>\n
6. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE:<\/p>\n
The following shall constitute the Executive Committee.<\/p>\n
a) The Principal-Ex-Officio President<\/p>\n
b) The Vice- President nominated by the Principal from among the teaching<\/p>\n
staff.<\/p>\n
c) The Secretary elected by the students of the college.<\/p>\n
d) The Assistant Secretary elected by the students of the College.<\/p>\n
e) Class Representative one from each class elected by the respective<\/p>\n
classes.<\/p>\n
f) One representative of the girl students nominated by the Principal.<\/p>\n
g) The Executive Committee will hold office for the entire session and till<\/p>\n
the next election takes place.<\/p>\n
7. DUTIES OF THE SECRETARY:<\/p>\n
a) To convene meeting of S.S.G.<\/p>\n
b) To record the proceedings of the meetings.<\/p>\n
c) To invite application for aid from students.<\/p>\n
d) To organise volunteers corps.<\/p>\n
e) To Prepare and submit Annual Report.<\/p>\n
8. In the absence of the Secretary, the Assistant Secretary will perform all<\/p>\n
the functions.<\/p>\n
9. If situation arises when there is no Secretary or Assistant Secretary, the<\/p>\n
